I have started thinking more about creating systems to simplify and prioritise tasks so I will more likely get them done.
Thinking along these lines has particularly helped with going to the gym over the past few months.
When I first joined, I made it a big thing to get down to a class.
I was trying lots of different classes and workouts.
I went occasionally but struggled to get any consistency or foothold.
My results were inconsistent, too.
Around September, I joined a six-week strength challenge and started going to regular classes three to four times per week.
The habit has just stuck now.
It is not a big thing anymore.
I don’t procrastinate and sit in indecision about whether to go to this class or that class or not at all.
I go regularly each week, and I’m still doing the high-intensity interval classes from the challenge.
My results and how I feel are reflected in this, too.
I have started approaching my business in the same way.
I am working hard to build systems that I can follow.
When I sit down to work on my business, I know what needs to be done.
I have a plan that I am ready to work on.
I have automated and delegated where I can.
Set your goals, so you know what is essential.
