Making a Start - Scalable Offerings and Automation

 

I believe that creating a scalable offering and finding ways to automate your business are important considerations right from the start of your business. As a busy mum, making your business viable by working one-on-one with clients and trading your time for an hourly rate can be challenging. However, selling your offer in various ways or reaching multiple clients simultaneously enables you to multiply your impact and success. So be sure to work smarter, not harder! 

 

If you have a service-based offer, can it be available in different formats to lift your sales? For example, if you are an artist that paints, are you also able to create a course that teaches people some of the skills you use in your work? If you are a life coach/counsellor, can you make a mindset group coaching program or sell audio resources or e-books? If you sell a product, can you create a subscription, as many wineries do with their monthly wine boxes?  

 

Finding ways to automate your client interactions enables you to connect with your community whenever they find you online. You also get to have a life outside of your business. It is a crucial enabler for you to generate passive income.   

 

Look at available automation hacks early on in your business and use them from the beginning. For example: 

  • Kajabi is full of forms, tags and scheduling options that I am already setting up. 
  • Gmail has the option of out-of-office emails and email schedulers. 
  • Canva scheduler enables you to create posts and schedule when you want them published on social platforms, including Facebook groups. 

 

There is a multitude of programs available you can use on any process that is draining your time and energy. By analysing what administrative and client service tasks are weighing you down, you can automate them to make your life much easier.
