My Business Year So Far
May 11, 2023My Business Year So Far
I love spending some uninterrupted time writing down goals and reflecting on them, and I am sure you will get a lot from doing this too.
At the start of this year, I spent some time setting the following goals:
- Carve out ten dedicated hours per week on my business now that my son has started school and my daughter has started preschool.
- Keep developing my coaching skills by working with Mums
- Launch my first course for sale – Online Business for Mamas
- Continue to build my community by sharing content and making offers: podcast (which I plan to launch!), live Instagram videos, Pinterest, Instagram and Facebook
- Make lots and lots of offers through webinars and lead magnets
- Keep building my profile
- Be consistent with my content delivery
- Go live for the first time!!!
- Make the most of any new opportunities that pop up
- Mindset goals include: being more patient and celebrating what I am achieving; watching comparisons and focusing more on creating social media content than consuming it; doing what I can, when I can; staying motivated and keep having a go; and keep taking the next steps.
I have just reflected on my goals at the end of the first quarter of the year (Jan-Mar) and am pleased with my progress. I am still very focused on my course launch and believe many actions will start flowing when this is ready for sale – particularly all my promotion and content goals. From March onwards (once school went back and all the Kinder rest days were over), I have been able to have dedicated time in my week for my business. It has made all the difference in getting work done! Work on my mindset is continually evolving, and I hope to have more time and coaching opportunities once my course is live.
Goalsetting and reflection are so helpful - it helps steer you in the right direction, gives you something to work towards and celebrate and allow you to learn from setbacks and challenges to grow.
Be sure to set some time aside regularly to get planning!
