Creating Time in Your Week - Getting Things Done With Kids
Jul 05, 2022Creating Time in Your Week - Getting Things Done With Kids
I try to take pressure off by keeping things easy with my kids where I can. For example, I make meal preparation and cleanup easy and manageable on days and nights when we are all busy or tired. We will read books while the kids are playing in the bath. Most days, my kids have showers, which feels so much quicker and easier than having a bath. On days when they crash and have naps in the afternoon, I will get a bit more done around them. My youngest no longer has a daytime nap, but when she did, I would get lots of tasks done and have some downtime while she was asleep and my son had quiet time.
I also run errands and get life administration done with my kids and around them. My kids love going to the shops, so I will try to do anything easy to do with them. The more I get done during the day, the freer I am to work on my business when I have time at night or during any time blocks.
