Making a Start - Freebies and Cheap Offers
Aug 12, 2022Making a Start - Freebies and Cheap Offers
I am a big fan of accessing freebies and cheap offers for ideas and inspiration. I would recommend, though, that you try to be strategic and don't let yourself get overwhelmed by all the content filling your inbox, socials and mind. When you come across great content that can help you in your business, save them in your Google Drive, desktop folders, or Trello cards.
Free access to many programs is available before you need to start paying for their Premium features – Google, One Drive, Canva, Trello and Zoom, for example. I gained access to LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com) for free through my local library, and it is full of excellent business-related courses and tutorials. I have also accessed audiobooks through my local library for free, including recent releases.
You may also get lucky and be able to use existing subscriptions or programs through your work or family. For example, my husband is a writer and was already paying for a Grammarly subscription, which meant I could use that program for my writing.
At some point, I also came across a fantastic product called The Business Bundle: https://thebundleco.com/. I don't think this particular bundle is still for sale, but I'm sure there are similar products out on the market. It had approximately 100 courses for me to look at related to online business for $100USD. It gave me a great chance to research different products, see what platforms they are selling through, etc. In addition, I received access to stock subscription websites (which I have downloaded many images and templates from) and two other subscription-based course products. I haven't done many courses yet but have saved all the login details for each course for future use when they become relevant to my work.
So, start researching what is out there to help you on your journey today.
