Create the Workspaces You Need

Holidays are always a great time to organise spaces and declutter.  

In our busy weekly routine, finding free hours to get into tasks like these can be challenging.  

Our pantry, kids' toys, and kids' bedrooms have kept us busy over the past few weeks.  

I have also focused on my filming space (a corner of our front room).  

Creating a space where you can film if you plan to deliver video content as part of your digital offerings is essential.   

It doesn't need to be fancy or over the top.   

It is so helpful to get going; you can always update the space to a better design or aesthetic later.   

My sister gave me a spare desk she didn't want anymore to put my computer on.   

I placed a table and a standing whiteboard behind me, which I was given as a Christmas present.   

I made the space look professional and appealing by adding a decal of an inspirational quote to the wall behind it and a beautiful dried flower arrangement in my brand colours.  

I have also spent some time researching my lighting further and plan to add to my existing halo light with either soft box or LED lights in a three-point format.
