My Business Focus this Winter School Holidays  

Working from home during the school holidays is challenging.  

The bonus of setting up your own business and working for yourself is that you can take the pressure off.  

You can do what you can around your kids.  

You can prepare by creating content before the holidays.  

You can work on major project work during school terms when uninterrupted days are more likely.  

If you need to get important things done that can’t be rescheduled, many options to help include play dates, visits with family, occasional care places and school holiday programs.  

We are limping across the finish line of this term – we have had so much sickness over the past few weeks!  

So this holiday, I look forward to rest and hopefully some illness-free days.  

We enjoyed a few days in Melbourne just before the start of the break too.   

It was lovely to get away, catch up with friends and enjoy many fun activities with our kids.  

Rest and time away are important and fun, making me more rejuvenated when I return to my projects.
