Making a Start - Bookmarks and Passwords

One helpful thing I did at the start of organising myself was to bookmark all the key websites I needed to use on my computer and save the password for each account. I saved the passwords in my web browser and wrote them all down in one spot to refer to them quickly if I needed to (I will hopefully update this to an electronic solution when I can find the time). The result was that when I wanted to start working, I could easily get into the program and wasn't wasting time trying to reset lost passwords, find the correct login pages from emails etc. I also created folders on the wallpaper of my phone, so I could organise all my app tiles and quickly find what I needed on my phone, including a folder for 'Alison O'Sullivan Coaching'.

Bookmarks and passwords that I have saved include the following:

  • Gmail (a business email account, and an additional account for funnel hacking, see blog posts to follow)
  • Trello
  • Google Drive, One Drive and Dropbox (for cloud storage)
  • Google Docs (phone app), Google Sheets (phone app)
  • Courses I am taking
  • Stock photo sites I had free access to
  • Canva (for all graphic design)
  • Kajabi and Kajabi University (my all in one website and sales program)
  • Linked In Learning (previously Lynda.com - free through my local library)
  • My business bank account
  • Grammarly (for editing my writing)
  • Paypal and Stripe (payment software)
  • Pinterest
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Linked In
  • Zoom (for webinars and conferences)
  • Domain registration site
  • Personal: news websites, online shopping, exercise program, Shop Back (worth checking out for money back on your online shopping), streaming sites, Apple iCloud, Evernote

So start saving your bookmarks and passwords as you go to save lots of time when you are working.
